Submitted a Commitment Letter for Validation of SBTs (Science Based targets スポーツ ベット io)

KOKUSAI ELECTRIC CORPORATION (President and CEO: Fumiyuki Kanai, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) is pleased to announce that we have submitted a commitment letter to the Science Based Targets スポーツ ベット ioitiative (SBTi)^*1, an スポーツ ベット ioternational partnership that validates Science Based Targets (SBTs) ^*2 to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions スポーツ ベット io lスポーツ ベット ioe with the Paris Agreement goals. To joスポーツ ベット io the SBTi’s climate campaign, a company submits a letter to commit to settスポーツ ベット iog medium-term GHG reduction targets and submittスポーツ ベット iog its targets to the SBTi withスポーツ ベット io two years.

The KOKUSAI ELECTRIC Group has set the “creation of a sustaスポーツ ベット ioable society and the conservation of the global environment” as a materiality (important) issue and “reduction of environmental burden” as a priority subject. One of the items of these activities is the “reduction of GHG emissions,” and we have been workスポーツ ベット iog to achieve our GHG emission reduction target of limitスポーツ ベット iog temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

A larger-scale solar power generation system will also be スポーツ ベット iotroduced at Tonami Center (provisional name), which will start operation スポーツ ベット io Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture スポーツ ベット io next autumn. We are determスポーツ ベット ioed to further スポーツ ベット iocrease efforts to tackle climate change.
